Language Courses the way you want them!

The Sprachcaffe language school in Frankfurt offers lessons through a large variety of courses.

Evening Courses

Language lessons can be confortably taken after the work day for those who would like continuous training or to improve their lanugae skills. You can register for evening courses for a duration of 3 months or longer. A month consists of 4 weeks of lessons, holidays will not be counted. The class meets once a week for 2 lessons of 45 minutes. The size of each group will be between 4 and 7 people.

Participants without previous knowledge: Contact us to learn about the next possible course for beginners.

Participants with previous knowledge: you can register for a free trial and stop in anytime during a language class. We can then grade you or you can use our Online Language Test Service to find what level is right for you.

Intensive Courses

These lessons are designed for people who want a compact and intensive refreshening and deepening of their language skills.

This program includes a quick introduction, intensive rehabilitation and extension courses in addition to learning the needed language skills for general and business related topics. The language course includes 6 lessons of 45 minutes from Monday to Friday. This type of learning is particularly effective in combination with long-term courses and/or private lessons. The number of participants in each class is between 4 and 7 people.

Except for beginners, a language test is required to register.

Standard Courses

These lessons are reserved for those who would like to learn German as a foreign language.

The style of teaching is best with a combination of our long-term courses and/or private lessons. Classes are held five days a week for 4 lessons of 45 minutes. On public holidays there will be no classes. The number of participants per class is between 4 and 8 people.

Except for beginners, a language test is required to register.

Afternoon Courses

This language course is reserved for persons wishing to obtain a certification in Latin by taking lessons in the afternoon so that they don't have to lose an entire semester. The grammar material is compacted and effectively taught in small groups. In each session, original Latin texts are translated with our experienced teachers. This individualized attention is paramount. The language classes are one semester (3 months) consisting of 2 days a week for 4 lessons of 45 minutes.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are the quickest and most effective possible way to learn - or further one's knowledge of - a foreign language. Your teacher adjusts to your individual learning style and gives you full support while developing your linguistic potential. Also your schedule for lessons can be very flexible.

Private lessons are recommended for people who must be very flexible because of work-related scheduling conflicts or for those who wish for individual attention. This style of learning fits those best who are preparing for special tasks. For example, an upcoming interview, examinations, lectures and presentations.

For groups of people that know each other, have about the same knowledge of a given language and have the same learning objectives, we offer these customized lessons at a special rate. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes.

Business Language Courses

Business Course in Frankfurt

These language courses are ideal for people who use a foreign language at work everyday and/or need specialized knowledge.
Business language courses can be booked as evening courses, which means registering for at least 3 months. A month consists of 4 weeks of lessons, excluding holidays. The course meets once every week for 2 lessons of 45 minutes. Group sizes range from 4 to 7 people.
Business language courses can also be scheduled as Intensive courses, meaning that 6 lessons of 45 minutes are taken on Monday through Friday. Here group sizes also range from 4 to 7 people.
It is also possible to take business language courses in the form of private lessons with an emphasis your on specialized needs.

Weekend Seminars

Weekend Seminars are optimal for people who would like to learn a new language or improve upon a known language in a short period of time. In compact weekend seminars from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon, lanugages are aquired and improved. Because the language seminars build on eachother, you can reach an advanced level in a few weeks.
From Friday evening until Sunday afternoon there will be 14 lessons taught. Group sizes range between 4 and 7 people.

Specialized Seminars

Banking & Finance, Tourism, Insurance, Advertising. Specialized seminars are perfect for people who would like to quickly gain  linguistic competence in Banking & Finance, Tourism, Insurance or Advertising. In one-to-one classes or in special corporate programs students will learn the most important technichal terms and language skills that they'll need for daily correspondence and conversations.

Children, Students, Kids and Teens

Sprachkurse für Jugendliche in Frankfurt

Kids Club at Sprachcaffe (starting at age 7): For your little one, Sprachcaffe offers afternoon language lessons. According to your needs and desires, we will create a specially designed learning program for your child, which will be taught by a native speaker.

Teens Club at Sprachcaffe (ages 11-19): For teens in pairs or as private lessons, Sprachcaffe offers afterschool learning support with a native speaker. The hours can be flexibly scheduled between 12:30 and 17:00.

Silver Club (over 55 years-old)

More time for personal interests - want to use it to consolidate your language skills or even learn a new language? In these group classes, we offer you the opportunity to acquire, in good company, a solid foundation of a foreign language. You will also meet similar-minded people and can make new contacts. The Silver Club meets once a week from 15:30 until 17:00.

DSH Preperation Courses

Upon request Sprachcaffe can offer language courses to prepare foreign students who wish to take the German Language University Entrance exam (DSH - deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang).

Test-DaF Preparation Courses

Upon request, Sprachcaffe can offer language courses to prepare foreign students who wish to take the German as foriegn Language test (Test „Deutsch als Fremdsprache“ - TestDaF). TestDaF is an exam for those who already have good knowledge of German and want certification.
