Terms & Conditions
1. Registration is binding for a given month, week or hours.
2. After this time, you do not need to re-register, because the extension is automatic from month to month, unless written notice is received. If after this time you no longer intend to participate in the course, please remember to terminate. The cancellation period is one month. For intensive courses or private lessons, advanced notice is not required.
Cancellation charges:
- Up to 30 days before the course starts: 25%
- Up to 15 days before the course starts: 50%
- Thereafter 90% of course fees
3. A month consists of 4 weeks of lessons with each lesson lasting 45 minutes. The tuition fee is the due at the beginning of the course at the very latest. The above prices are per person.
4. We try to make up for lost classes due to holidays through agreements between the students and language teachers or to compensate students for the lost time, which can result in the specified period being extended accordingly.
5. There is no making up for missed classes! Sickness and/or vacation-related interruptions during a ongoing course (e.g. evening course) will be credited if you a) take longer than 2 weeks and b) leave 2 weeks advance notice, as follows: at 3 misses, 1 double lesson; at 4 misses, 2 double lessons; at 5 misses, 3 double lessons ; and etc. However, the leave cannot be calculated as part of the notice period. Also, no more than 2 times are included in each calendar year.
6. The group course, booked through registering, can take place only if there are a sufficient number of participants (i.e. 2 people in groups of 3, 3 people in groups of 6, 4 people in groups of 8, etc.).
7. Agreed upon dates for private lessons require 48 hours of notice if you wish to cancel.
8. Educational Leave: When applying for or taking a leave of study, participation in language classes is mandatory. Absences will be reported by Sprachcaffe’s school’s management to your employer or school/university/college immediately. Transfers (date, course, language) and/ or cancellations must be made immediately and in writing. This is especially true if dates of the desired educational leave are not accepted by your employer or school/ university/ college. In this case, we ask that you provide us with correspondence from the employer or school. Up to 2 changes can be made for free. Unfortunately, for each additional change we must take 30,- EUR from your account!
