The traditions that were started at Caffé letterario -our "Godfather"- guided our founders to our basic principles and name of Sprachcaffe. They were inspired by the concepts established by a group of language and culture enthusiasts. At the Caffé letterario, the small group would regularly hold meetings over a cup of coffee. During these meetings, a variety of texts and ideas were informally exchanged and discussed in a relaxed atmosphere simply amongst peers.
