Become a host family

Do you still have a room free? We are looking for host families in Frankfurt and the surrounding area for our foreign language students, especially for the summer months from June to September. As a host family for a foreign language student, you have the unique opportunity to introduce a young person to German culture and lifestyle, and at the same time get to know foreign cultures first-hand yourself. You will see: A language student will bring a breath of fresh air into your home and you will be able to learn a lot from each other. In addition, host families receive attractive remuneration from us, so you can easily turn an unused bed into money.

• Openness and cordiality towards other people and foreign cultures
• You live in Frankfurt and the surrounding area
• You have a separate room with one or two beds
• You can offer the language student breakfast and/or half board

Our language students are generally between 20 and 30 years old. In the summer months, we also host underage students between the ages of 14 and 17, who take part in a leisure programme organised by Sprachcaffe after the language course. Our language students come from all over the world, mainly from Eastern Europe, South America and Asia and stay between 2 and 6 weeks, sometimes up to 3 months or a year.
