The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a globally recognized language exam that assesses the English proficiency of non-native speakers. It is often used by people who want to study, work or live abroad.
The IELTS exam assesses the four key English skills: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. There are two main versions of the IELTS test: the Academic IELTS, which is required for admission to universities, and the General IELTS, which focuses on professional or everyday communication situations.
The exam consists of various tasks, including multiple-choice questions, essays and oral presentations, and the total score varies depending on the test version and the requirements of the particular university, institution or organization that requires the exam.
You've already reached the English level you need for a successful application to the university of your choice? Great! But you should still prepare for the IELTS exam. Preparing for the exam will help you familiarize yourself with the exam format and specific requirements. Good preparation will significantly increase your chances of success in the exam.
After you have taken our placement test, we will work with you to plan your preparation for the exam. Important points here are your current level, the level of English you need to achieve and of course how much time is left until the exam.
The IELTS preparation is conducted as a group intensive course. Of course, you can also do the preparation as individual coaching (one-to-one lessons). The IELTS preparation course usually starts in different levels on the first Monday of each month and can be booked for two to four weeks.
- Duration: 2 to 4 weeks
- Course length: 30 teaching units (UE) in total.
Monday to Friday 09:00 to 14:15 (including breaks)
- Course level: B1+ and B2
- Course fee: 340 € per course week.

Course level: The advanced course takes place alternatively in the levels B1+ and B2. The exam specific part in the afternoon in level B2.
