Language courses are an investment in your future! Knowledge of foreign languages has become indispensable in a multicultural working atmosphere. Continuing your education in a foreign language increases your employability in your company and your value on the labour market. Regardless of your current foreign language skills, we can help you get ahead. You can receive financial support through the federal programme Bildungsprämie. The federal programme Bildungsprämie is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the European Social Fund.
Who receives funding?
Persons who are gainfully employed for at least 15 hours per week. This includes employees and self-employed persons. The annual taxable income may not exceed €20,000. In the case of joint assessment, this amount is doubled to €40,000. You will find the taxable income in your last tax assessment notice. This amount can be significantly lower than the annual gross income.
What is funded and how?
Funding is provided for further training that will help you advance professionally. The aim is to provide you with individual and job-related further training.
You will receive a premium voucher and a savings voucher. The savings voucher enables you to withdraw your subsidised savings credit early in accordance with the Capital Accumulation Act (Vermögensbildungsgesetz) without losing your employee savings allowance. The prerequisite for this is to have one. The premium voucher is defined by the measure price. It covers 50% of the measure fee. However, the maximum funding amount is limited to 500€.
What do I have to consider?
You may apply for one premium voucher per calendar year. The funding amount of the premium voucher may only be used for the event fees. Incidental costs such as travel costs or expenses for accommodation and meals cannot be reimbursed. In Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Rhineland-Palatinate and Schleswig-Holstein, the costs of the measures may not exceed €1000. The voucher can only be redeemed if you have not yet been invoiced.
